Today's UPDATES

Yesterday history afternoon was made, the New York Yankees' rookie right fielder Aaron Judge scored two home runs, bringing him up to fifty home runs this season. Judge set a new MLB rookie record for most home runs hit in a their first season, surpassing Oakland Athletics legend Mark McGwire's total of forty-nine, I completely missed the home run that helped Judge break the record because I was watching MSNBC; I was bored yesterday. With the MLB season winding down to just one week, there are two divisions left be clinched, those being the AL East and NL Central divisions, and we have a three way race for the last NL Wild Card spot. Meanwhile, the drama between the NFL and Donald Trump continues as you could probably guess that some of the players from the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals took a knee during the national anthem last night in Monday Night Football. You must wonder if this trend is going to continue later this NFL season, but until then, here is Max Sports' latest batch of results from previou games.

This is BIG News Tuesday, where any news stories can break out at any given moment, yesterday we got some big MTV news. Next Monday is the return of TRL at 3:30PM from the famous and newly revamped MTV studio in Times Square and it has been announced by the network that Ed Sheeran and the music trio Migos will appear and might perform live on the premiere of TRL. In other news yesterday, It will be getting a sequel on September 6, 2019, but people can still head to the movie theaters now and see this terrifying film. I'm going to theater today, but not to see It, I'm going with something a little more lighter, a littler more funnier, and tons of action, The LEGO Ninjago Movie. One other piece of news has made its way to the top of my list and as today's #TwitterTrend, British-born Bollywood actress Amy Jackson will have a recurring role in Supergirl's third season on The CW as Imra Ardeen, a.k.a Saturn Girl. Fans of Supergirl have been really passionate about this and right fully so because if you don't know, Saturn Girl is a member of the Legion of Super Heroes and it has been rumored that Mon El could be heading there after the closing moments of season two back in May. We'll see how Saturn Girl will come into factor when Supergirl's season premiere starts October 9th at 8PM on The CW, meanwhile here are a couple of tweets that show fans' excitement of Amy Jackson being added to the cast and reaction from Jackson herself.

Boy oh boy, I must have the time of my life last night, series premiere of The Opposition with Jordan Klepper was a little weird, but it was much different from The Daily Show with Trevor Noah has to offer, and that's okay. In the debut episode of Jordan's new show on Comedy Central, he explained the alternative media's unique viewpoints, introduced us to his team of Citizen Journalists and had a nice chat with author Kurt Andersen. I watched over the episode this morning and I'm starting to understand what exactly what Jordan is trying to do and I we could all use a different side of the news for a change, there are tons of stories that alternative media are willing to share with us and I would like to get to know them later. With addition of The Opposition, I have taken upon myself to now dub the 11PM hour on Comedy Central "Rush Hour" think about it for one second, Trevor Noah and Klepper in some way go to together like Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, Barack Obama and Joe Biden, Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart, the last one didn't go so well. However, this is the kind of boost that Comedy Central needs to once again define late night television like no one else can. With the Citizen Journalists at his disposal, Jordan Klepper will have no problem covering alt-right news and for a closer look at the Journalists, Web Choice has the right video for you.
