Today's UPDATES

I said I would keep you updated with what's been going on with my family's plans for a summer road trip. Well last night, I got some bad news, my sister told me that the weather will be cold and wet for us to go to Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom this weekend and we were planning to stay at a hotel so we can spend two days at the Parks. I should have known that something like this would happen and with August being always being the start of the storm season, so now my family and I are switching to Plan B. This Saturday, we're going to Aquatopia, the largest indoor waterpark in the Northeastern of the United States. It's right near the Camelback Resorts in the Poconos Mountains in Pennsylvania which means that the road trip is still on, just to a different destination. I'm sort of getting tired of going to water parks, I have been begging to someplace full thrill seekers like Dorney and Six Flags Great Adventure, now I may have to wait until next year for finally get a chance to ride a roller coaster that is just right for me, there's more to me that my family realized and I am a grown man with a hunger for thrills. You know who else are looking for thrills, the WWE Superstars of Raw, SmackDown Live, NXT and 205 Live, for next week, they're be headed to Brooklyn for SummerSlam Weekend. MaxSports is still keeping track with the matches set for the biggest party of the Summer and here's what we've got.

I can tell you how much I love Netflix, it gives us its own original content like Marvel's Defenders Universe. Disney and Marvel has been a big part of Netflix, but that will all change soon. Our #TwitterTrend discusses some shocking developments coming from Disney, CEO of the Company Bob Iger announced that it will pull just about all of its movies from Netflix and then plans to launch a its own branded streaming service in 2019 starting in the United States and will later expand globally. In addition, it also will launch an ESPN video streaming service in early 2018, this will include content from the MLB, NHL and MLS, 10,000 sporting events each year like  collegiate sports and Grand Slam tennis events. This seems real shocking and makes you wonder, what does this mean for future movies and shows for Disney and Marvel. We know that this new streaming service will be the home for all Disney movies going forward, starting with it's 2019 films such as Toy Story 4, Frozen 2, and the live-action The Lion King. Marvel shows like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage will remain on Netflix as filming for those shows are in progress as we speak, so no harm, no foul for that one. You can believe it when I say people are not too excited to hear that Disney is pulling away from Netflix, and I've got the tweets to prove it.

For those worried about where the Marvel shows fit into Disney's new model, they don't appear on the list Disney put out:

Disney $DIS working on a power move. It will roll out ESPN branded streaming service in early 2018 and Disney streaming service in 2019.

Looks like the Disney/Netflix deal ran from 2016-2018 previously so that’s why 2019 is start date of new OTT service.

Disney has been talking about starting its own streaming service for years. Now its finally going to.

Note: Disney's new service will have Disney movies + kids shows. But little mention of ABC/Freeform.

Lastly, Today's WebChoice topic is about a different amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark. This was another place I had wanted to go this summer but could not bring myself to telling my mom and sister as by that time we choosed to go to Dorney Park. Yesterday, Hersheypark revealed on Facebook its new attractions for 2018 and will appear in The Boardwalk waterpark, the first being Breakers Edge Water Coaster, it uses hydro-magnetic technology to blast rafts both up and down hills like normal roller coasters. The park has said that this thrill ride will be the first of its kind in the world with flying saucer turns, pretty awesome if you asked me. The second attraction is a large mat racing slide called Whitecap Racer and it towers 70 feet over the park, it features six separate lanes for guests to race down, and two different sets of horizontal loops that each lane slides through. Whitecap Racer will be the longest of its kind in the world, so that's two record breaking attractions that Hersheypark will open come Memorial Day Weekend in 2018. Check out the experiences of these water rides from a much more different perspective.
