Today's UPDATES

Happy last day of August, Labor Day weekend is coming and a lot of young people are getting ready for school. Next Thursday is the kickoff game to the 2017 NFL Football Season and Max Sports will have special reports on the games from Week 1 including the Kansas City Chiefs versus New England Patriots. One of the biggest question this upcoming football season is who can take down the Patriots and keep them from winning another Super Bowl title? To me, it would take a team that can match the same offense, defense, charisma and fast pace agility to the Patriots but more importantly a good quarterback who can go toe to with Tom Brady. Now even though the Patriots have a few of the best players injured at the start of the season, nothing is going to stand in their questing of winning back-to-back championships, and lots of other teams are going through some changes such as the Atlanta Falcons playing in Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Los Angeles Chargers looking to rebuild a new legacy in Hollywood. Be sure to tune in Monday for a full look at he current MLB Standings in order to get a good idea who is bound for postseason baseball.

Today Six Flags announced new rides and attractions for 2018, and let me just that say each of them looks amazing. For the record, I wanted to go to Six Flags Great Adventure, but we couldn't because of a handful of reasons that I rather not discuss right now. A couple of weeks ago after my family and I went to Camelback Mountain Waterpark in the Poconos, I said that I wanted to go to Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia next year, but after seeing what Great Adventure has in stored, I'm not so sure anymore. Last year we had a Top Ten list on the best new rides coming to Six Flags and that's what I plan to do today, so let's get it started right now. There is a video of Six Flags Chairman, President and CEO Jim Reid-Anderson giving a full rundown of each attractions from each of the parks while hitting the road on a fancy motorcycle, and he looks amazing on it, so check it out.

(#10) A Chance Rides' Freestyle flat ride called Pandemonium heads to The Great Escape.

(#08) Typhoon Twister will make its way into Six Flags St. Louis' Hurricane Harbor park.
