Today's UPDATES

This has been one busy weekend, my family's road to Pennsylvania didn't go according, but that's okay because we still had a good time and we;ll discuss how later on in the post. Next weekend is SummerSlam Weekend in Brooklyn, New York which means the town will be packed with fans of the WWE Universe who will be present at the Barclays Center for the third NXT TakeOver and SummerSlam held in Brooklyn, I just can't wait to see the kind of show they're going to put on. NFL Preseason is still going and teams have been shaping up for the regular season, there for I have to get my New York Jets jersey out and ready to go. You know I had got a Brandon Marshall Jets jersey for christmas last year, but now Marshall is with the New York Giants so my new jersey seems worthless to me. I still have my Mark Sanchez jersey even though he's not with the Jets anymore, but it will be difficult to use the Marshall jersey with Brandon Marshall playing for a rival team. Max Sports would like to announced that the some of the games for the 2017-18 NBA Season were revealed last Thursday and now the league will plan to release the full schedule this sometime this week, probably Thursday evening, so we will be keeping a close eye on that.

Today's #TwitterTrend will be a little tricky because it involves Shonda Rhimes, the women behind Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, How to get Away with Murder and The Catch. All shows, part of ABC's TGIT lineup on Thursday, were made thanks to the helping hand of Rhimes. This fall on ABC, TGIT is all new with the 14th season of Grey's the seventh and final season of Scandal and the fourth season of HTGAWM. The Catch was canceled last May after two great seasons and Rhimes planning a new legal drama called For the People on ABC. The one thing I'm most interested in is the planned spin-off to Grey's Anatomy which focuses on firefighters, I recently binge watched Dick Wolf's Chicago Med after his Chicago Justice series was just canceled, so you can say I'm hooked on the Chicago franchise on NBC and anything involving fire, police, doctors and lawyers. But this really about Shonda Rhimes, today it was announced that the famous TV maker will be stepping into the world of Netflix after signing a multiyear deal that will allow her Shondaland production company to bring new programming onto the streaming service.This seems like a big blow to ABC Studios, but it comes in the wake of Disney announcing tit would leave Netflix to start its own streaming service, see how the news of Rhimes moving onto this next evolution of television is rapidly getting attention with these tweets.

Lastly, Today's Web Choice topic is very special as it's not about some random piece of news that pops out of the internet. It's about my trip to Tannersville, Pennsylvania last Saturday. I was out with my mom and sister and a couple of my sister's friends as we traveled from New York to New Jersey to Pennsylvania and made our to the Camelback Resorts. The original plan was go to Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark, but tickets there were sold out, so then we have had to make a decision, go to Dorney Park which was just a hour away from where we were, or go to the water park next door to Aquatopia, Camelbeach. My sister's friend had already booked us tickets to Camelbeach and soon we were off, we had an amazing time at Camelbeach Mountain, I was able to go on water rides like the Titan and Sandstorm, the latter of which gave a real headache. One thing that didn't make the trip so fun was at the end when I lost one of my caps that says "Adidas" near the Lazy River, and it's a shame that he didn't book a hotel near the park so we could stay there for the whole weekend. I had been tweeting pictures over the course of the trip to document my family road trip to the Poconos Mountains and I would like to share them right now along with a few videos of people having fun at Camelback, a waterpark that I think is much better than Aquatopia.
