To continue in sports, #TwitterTrend might have the biggest news on Twitter today and that is the City of Los Angeles, California agreeing to a deal yesterday with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to host the Summer Olympic Games in the year 2028. It was a real long shot for the United States and Los Angeles to grab the 2024 spot which is just seven away, but the deal makes more for now LA has over a decade of preparation to host the Olympic Events for the first since 1984, and will generate hundreds of millions in savings and additional revenues. Paris, France will be the chosen city to host the 2024 Summer Olympics right after Tokyo, Japan has its turn in 2020. The decision of this deal will be ratified at 131st International Olympic Committee Conference which is set to be held on September 13th, 2017, while some americans are upset with having to wait a decade to see the Olympics in the United States, some are overjoyed by the news, and these are their reactions on Twitter.

We're hosting 2028 Summer Olympics? Better get on the freeway now if I'm gonna make it.

Oh how I love Tuesdays, my second most favorite day of the week, no offense to Fridays and Saturdays which are tied as my second most favorite. Last week, Comedy Central revealed its plans for the Fall Season and later on in the future, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah is hitting the road for a week in Chicago, Hasan Minhaj is planning a one hour sketch comedy special with his group called Goatface, and The Opposition with Jordan Klepper was also announced last week and will premiere on September 25. Funny story, I predicted that Klepper's new show would air wither the last week of September or the first week of October because that's now the Fall TV Season works, looks like my prediction came true in a way. The thing I want to talk about this new Comedy Central series is the fact that Jordan Klepper is taking on a persona as "a know-nothing provocateur' who will mostly mock the alt-right media and its conspiracy theorists like Alex Jones. It has been notice that when Stephen Colbert started The Colbert Report twelve years ago, he performed as bloviating right-wing host who would mocked political pundits like Bill O'Reilly and satirize modern ego-driven news programs like the ones on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News. I don't know much about Alexa Jones or alternative media but once I get a look at Jordan Klepper's Opposition I'll get a pretty good. So for this WebChoice topic today, I'm going to let someone else five an in-depth look at the man called Alex Jones and his way longer than my, I'm talking about Host of Last Week Tonight, John Oliver. "Be advised, some content in this video may be too harsh for younger readers and is not for the faith of hearts, so don't look at it alone." If you wish to look at something a littler lighter, Klepper has an exclusive interview with Hollywood Reporter about his new show and the country we now live in.
