Today's Updates: San Diego Comic-Con Edition

Today's UPDATES
San Diego Comic-Con Edition

For the second straight time, #KlicKNet is coming to you on a Sunday, and why you ask? All for one good reason: the San Diego Padres! Kidding.......the San Diego Chargers! Kidding Again.......San Diego COMIC CON! This the biggest comic book convention in the history of conventions, it's like the Republican and Democratic conventions, only there's no Trump. II am here to give you the readers of #KlicKNet full coverage on almost every announcement that has been made at Comic-Con, and this year has been no joke. I stood by my phone waiting for the news to kick off, the best source for Comic Con news was IGN which offered LIVE streaming from the San Diego Convention Center and featured some of the biggest stars in Television, Movies, Comic Books, Video Games and more. Day three was yesterday and that's where all the fun really began, the day was split into sides: one being DC Entertainment and the other being Marvel Studios. Both sides have offered special announcements on their upcoming projects in the future, so to give you the best coverage, we're going to split this this post into two sides via WebChoice. The DC Boys will go first and then we will save the best for last with Marvel Studios, and after that, we will have a Top Ten List on the best of the best moments from San Diego Comic Con and what to expect from your favorite TV Shows, Movies and other stuff.

Warner Bros was very ambitious with its lineup of future films, trying to make each of them as if there were special. The WB Panel started with a trailer for Steven Spielberg's new film Ready Player One set to debut in theaters in March 2018, but the real stars of the panel were the upcoming slate DC Extended Universe films. They featured announcements like the debut of a new Justice League poster and a trailer that might have teased Green Lantern, Wonder Woman 2 was announced along with Shazam, Justice League Dark, Flashpoint, The Batman, Suicide Squad 2, and Batgirl. The two movies in that list that have got me really excited  are Flashpoint, possibly based off the famous Flash storyline, and Batgirl which will start production next year in 2018. We also heard Actor Ben Affleck comments on the rumors that he's departing as Batman and told the Comic Con crowd at Hall H that he's not leaving and says that it's been really awesome playing Batman, he was joined by the rest of the cast of Justice League in a panel that included Gal Gadot, Ray Fisher, Jason Momoa and Ezra Miller in a goofy looking outfit. As an added bonus, there was also footage from Aquaman shown and unfortunately we can't be seen online, one thing they also showed was a new trailer for the LEGO Ninjago Movie and it was LIT, the animated film from Warner Bros will try to defy expectations just like the first LEGO Movie in 2014 and The LEGO Batman Movie from earlier this year. Finally, let's not forget about the DCTV Universe on The CW as Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash and Arrow respectively had their own panels and talked about what's ahead on their new seasons this Fall. So many videos to see from yesterday and I don't want you to waist another minute by not seeing them, let's get straight into the action.

If you thinks all of the DC is awesome, you haven't seen yet when it comes to Marvel. The question on everyone made is "How does Marvel do it?". Every year they come up with something unique at Comic Con and before yesterday's events, we saw new trailers for Marvel's Inhumans, The Defenders and the new X-Men series The Gifted. All of which proved why they going to blow the roof of networks like ABC, Netflix and FOX, on a sad note from yesterday, they did not mention anything about the immersive Marvel Land that was announced at Disney's D23 expo last week, I guess we'll have to wait even longer for some sort of detail or concept art to go public, just we;ll have to wait for the Avengers: Infinity War trailer to pop up online. The good news out of the Marvel Studios panel from last night, we got special concept art from Ant Man and the Wasp and best of all Captain Marvel. The latter of which will debut in March 2019 starring Brie Larson and we can see Captain Marvel in the 90s battling the Skrulls and teaming up with Samuel L. Jackson as a two eyed Nick Fury. We also learned the new characters appearing in Ant Man and the Wasp with Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Walton Goggins playing Sonny Burch, Batman Returns star Michelle Pfeiffer playing Janet van Dyne, the wife of Hank Pym and mother of Hope van Dyne, and Laurence Fishburne will appear Bill Foster aka Goliath. Marvel revealed more details on Black Panther and Thor: Ragnarok who had a trailer to show everyone. When I watched it last night, I was truly blow away by all of it and now I'm more excited to see Avengers: Infinity War now more than ever. We start off this Marvel-esque subject with the new trailer for Thor: Ragnarok.

Before we close out, I have to say that looking at these pictures and videos has made me realize that San Diego Comic Con was way better than D23 Expo because where else are we going to get all the best superhero news smashed up int one event. I can't wait for these movies to be put into theaters soon and tell each stories of these incredible stories in different unique ways possible. Now the time has come to round the best ten moments from Comic Con in a special Top Ten with five moments going to DC and the other five going to Marvel. It was hard for me to figure out which of these moments should be number #1 on the list, but I know that the fans will support the decision I made and can look at each moment and look back at what a weekend this has been.
