#fakeTV FRiDAY: Inside the Vault

We're heading into August next week and I don't know if I'm ever going anywhere special this summer, the only places I've been lately are at the movies to see Wonder Woman and Spider-Man: Homecoming. I've also been at home following the D23 Expo and Comic-Con in San Diego, both are fun to be covering by the way. My family has or was planning on going to Dorney Park, but I don't know if that's still up in the air and I'm afraid to ask anyone about it but what choose do I have. There's gonna be some big things happening next month and the one thing that I am so stoked about is just as big as WWE SummerSlam weekend. The NickSplat block on TeenNick has been going for about two years now and it has been getting some attention as children of the late 1980s and all of the 1990s have been reliving the precious children watching classic Nickelodeon shows that helped defy the network back then. What made Nickelodeon so special in the 90s was its Saturday Night programming block "SNICK", the name has a nice ring to it and the block allow kids to watch four of the the best shows on Nickelodeon from 8PM to 10PM. TeenNick has brought back SNICK back in 2011 and 2013 back when the network had The 90s Are All That block which was later revamp as Nick Splat. So every Saturday in August, NickSplat is celebrating SNICK's 25th Anniversary with classic lineups of shows from the past. It will be the best way for 90s Kids to spent the last few days of summer just like the good 'ol days. Check this promo from Nick Splat that aired a few days ago.
NickSplat SNICK 25 Promo - Every Saturday in August
I remember a little bit about SNICK in the early 2000s when is stared doing the On-Air Dare segments and when All That had a new set of cast members. I've seen old bumpers and commercials of SNICK back in the 1990s and I still do today. I sometimes fantasize if Nickelodeon would bring back SNICK now as Saturday Nights on Nick in the 2010s decade are in desperate need of a makeover. Moving on to #fakeTV, yesterday I said that I would have big news today regarding The InZane Club, well I can now confirm that the new season of The Club will start September 29th, the same day Marvel's Inhumans premieres on ABC and also four days after The Opposition with Jordan Klepper on Comedy Central premieres on late-night television. You can say that I'm going to be quite busy this Fall, but before all that, we're going to discuss the last bit of secrets of Gak Plus Sports, the fake game show that I am least proud of creating. The whole idea for it was to combine two of kids' favorite things in the world, messy gak and playing sports, we all know that sports are a very important part of history, but to kids everywhere getting messy is much more fun. Today I need explain what Gak Plus Sports did for prizes, in the grand prize round, the last remaining team in the game had to complete a 90-second obstacle course that was set up in a baseball diamond field. The first member runs through the course and then touches home plate at the end allowing the next partner to take their turn next, for each successful run, the would win a prize with the last prize being a vacation somewhere. If they won the challenge they would get the ultimate prize ever, getting covered in green slime by going through the show's signature Gak Wash. The Gak Wash is based off the Slime Wash used at the 2015 Kids Choice Awards and teams who were eliminated prior in the game or lost in the grand prize round get to ride in a sports car through a mini car wash that covers them in different substances known as gak. Now, you know how hard it was it was to create this show, next week, you will a even bigger secret from Inside the Vault.
