With the 2017 NBA Draft, we can look forward to Free Agency season, now that's were the craziness happens. But before that, it has been announced today that the New York Knicks will be parting ways with former President of Basketball Operations Phil Jackson. This should not be a surprise to anyone in particular, the relationship between Phil Jackson and the Knicks never worked out, it started back in 2014 when Jackson was brought into the organization as President after signing a five-year, $60 million dollar contract. Since then, things have been able to click for the Knicks, they have gain new players and lost old ones but it just wasn't enough in order for them to get back to the playoffs. So today, the Knicks have agreed to let Jackson go and according to The Vertical, Knicks owner James Dolan is looking at Masai Ujiri from Toronto as a replacement. Everyone on social media have been clamoring about what a relief it is knowing that Phil Jackson is out and I for one am happy that the Knicks made this decision, so once again we go to #TwitterTrend for full on coverage of this Trending Topic already taking over the web.

Phil Jackson just might have been the worst team-builder in NBA history. For sure the man who hired him is the worst NBA owner ever.

The Knicks have made it official.

Phil Jackson should've been fired one year ago right after giving $73 million to Joakim Noah. Phil is off his rocker. What's taking so long?

I'm blah about the #Knicks firing Phil Jackson, totally numb to it. It was borderline criminal keeping him.
