It's a nice and beautiful Thursday afternoon, nothing seems to be out of the ordinary today. Things will get exciting later tonight with the 2017 NBA Draft where a young basketball player's life will be change forever once he is drafted as the No. 1 Overall pick. The Philadelphia 76ers get the #1 Pick and this team is in need of some improvements as well as other teams such as the Lakers, Timberwolves, Knicks, Nets, Suns, Kings and Magic, while these teams get different picks, it is a wonder if they will use their picks wisely. We will just have to watch tonight's Draft and see what happens. MaxSports will bring you the Top Ten Picks of the Draft on Monday and I will share my thoughts of tonight's event which takes places in Brooklyn's Barclays Center. (#01) The 2017 NBA Draft takes place tonight live in Brooklyn, New York at 8PM on ESPN.

Just yesterday, we discuss how 'the Star Wars Han Solo film lost its two directors in Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, it was a total bombshell that many Star Wars fans reacted to. Now, Lucasfilm and DIsney have announced on the Star Wars website that a new director has been made official, his name is Ron Howard and he has worked with the creator of Star Wars George Lucas before. They made American Graffiti together with Original Han Solo actor Harrison Ford and Ron Howard was also known for starring in The Andy Griffin Show as a young child. Filming on the Han Solo film will resume on July 10th once Howard has traveled all the way to Pinewood Studios in London to get it back up and running for the film will debut next Memorial Day Weekend in 2018. #TwitterTrend has gathered enough tweets on this big Star Wars news and how the media is  reacting to the new director.
