Some will ask me, what exactly am I doing this summer? Well for the Fourth of July, I;m going to New Jersey to meet a relative for a Barbeque, so I will be taking a day off from the blog to celebrate the Birthday of America. Today as I just mentioned is the first day of summer, or as some would call it the Summer Solstice, but how are people celebrating it? #TwitterTrend was traveled the Twittersphere looking for any kind of information, one thing everybody can agree is that it is going to be really really hot for the next two and a half months. For Today's WebChoice topic, let's discuss Star Wars, a franchise of movies that I still have not seen yet. Stars Wars is everywhere these days and Walt Disney has made it into a bigger impact in pop culture after acquiring Lucasfilm a couple of years ago. Thanks to Disney, we have been given Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Rouge One, and soon later this year we're gonna have The Last Jedi in theaters. Disneyland Park in Anaheim and Disney's Hollywood Studios park in Orlando will open up their respective Star Wars themed lands in 2019 and before that, the D23 Expo will offer a special look at the parks' respective 14-acre lands next month in July. A year from now comes an Han Solo film from his early days in the galaxy. the film has been met with creative difficulties as of late, and because of that the untitled film as lost is directors in Phil Lord and Christopher Miller who were fired sometime yesterday. The big question now is: Who will take the helm as director(s) of this highly anticipated Star Wars Anthology film? That is a great question that will be answer sometime soon, in the meantime, see what media outlets are saying about the lost of the two directors.
