#fakeTV Friday: Inside the Vault

There is not much to say about this weekend, we have had a rough time this week and I don't think the best idea is to cheer yourself up by seeing that new movie starring Scarlett Johansson, Kate McKinnon, Jillian Bell, Alice Ilana Glazer and Zoë Kravitz. Instead let's discuss the passing of Television Adam West. A man who was born on September 19, 1928 and would later give voice to an all-time favorite comic book character; Adam West was best known for playing Batman in a classic ABC Series which debut on January 12, 1966. It would later on changed the way we look at the Caped Crusader who dominated TV, Movies, Comic Books and other merchandise, but no one had a more dominating presence like Adam West, he somewhat had a thing for superheroes and hard hitting action, it did not matter what kind of genre of what film or show he was doing, it was his pure acting that amazed fans from a past generation. He lend his voice to a number animated films like Aloha, Scooby-Doo!, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons and guest starred many cartoons on TV like The Fairly OddParents, The Simpsons, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Family Guy. He also took part in all kinds of Batman projects because it was that kind of character that put him on the map, and in honor of his passing, the City of Los Angeles will project a bat signal from city hall starting at Midnight ET/9PM PT. I have got to say that has to be the best way to tribute a person who that much to the world of TV & Film and will always be remember as one of the greatest of all times.
#KlickNet and #fakeTV know exactly how to honor this Legend, but more on that later. Father's Day is coming this Sunday and we all have to figure out what we are going to do for our fathers. I don't like to put this info out online, but my Dad is getting too old for any fun activities and he probably won't mind if I don't get him anything for Sunday. Sometimes when an idea pops out of my head, I soon know what I'm going to do next, that is what today's Inside the Vault is all about, back in 2013, I wonder what would happen if happen Nickelodeon were to revive one of its classic shows like Slime Time Live, a show that would later change the way we watch live TV and how get messy sometimes. What made Slime Time so special was that it aired live in between Nick shows and commercials giving viewers the opportunity to watch all the things they love Nickelodeon all in one setting. While I was making Rhodey, NY, I made Slime Time Showdown as well, of course It was way different than the Original Slime Time for it was a half hour show that did not cut into other shows. My only wish was for this to be a real show and allowing Nickelodeon to go back to the golden ages when the network was relevant, I still believe that they can still do that, but it seems like only a matter of when and how. Next week, we discuss the making Slime Time Showdown including a few secrets you haven't heard yet.
