The summer season is almost here, today is Memorial Day, which means people are travel to fun and exciting places, eating barbecue, and enjoying the fresh air outside. It doesn't look like the weather here in New York is good for anyone in the area to go out and have fun. so we can only hope the skies clear up soon. This week is going to a great week in sports with fifteen MLB games being played today, as well as the Stanley Cup Final kicking off tonight as the Pittsburgh defend their Championship from last year against a newcomer into the Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Nashville. Meanwhile, we are just days away from Cavs/Warriors III, the third installment of this NBA Finals rivalry which has been a pleasure to be a part of by the way, and this Sunday Night, the WWE Raw Brand goes to the Extreme as the next chapter of New Era will be written at WWE Extreme Rules where fives of the best superstars on the Raw roster will duke it out for the right to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. One thing people can do for Memorial Day is travel to the Disney California Adventure theme park in Anaheim and try out the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout Drop Tower attraction. This was first announced lats year at San Diego Comic Con, I was skeptical about the ride, but things have changed since then. Disney California Adventure had rethemed it Twilight Zone Tower of Terror into an all Marvel themed ride based a famous team we are all familiar with, the Guardians of the Galaxy who have another blockbuster film out in theaters currently " Vol. 2". The idea for the ride is that The Villainous Collector has added the Guardians to his collection of rare artifacts inside of his incredible fortress, which is where guests can take a quick tour of before they board the gantry lift. Inside the gantry lift, guests can watch Rocket Raccoon break his fellow Guardians members escape the Collector's fortress. I've been on one drop tower in Coney Island, it they not have been so much fun as I fought, and I wish I could just go to California Adventure and try out the Mission Breakout myself, and I think that some of you should do that too. This happen to me a few times to me already, when I'm writing #fakeTV on Fridays, I don't get talk about new updates, so by the time I've written this next story, you will have already known about it. Sony planning it own Marvel Universe revolving around character in the Spider-Man universe. We already know that Tom Hardy will play Venom next year, and we just got word that a director the Silver Sable/Black Cat centered film has been announced as Gina Prince-Bythewood. This female led film has titled as "Sliver & Black' which sounds pretty cool to me, the director herself is know for directing may TV Shows and movies like Girlfriends, The Bernie Mac Show, the pilot episode for Cloak & Dagger, and The Secret Life of Bees. She also co-created the Fox series Shots Fired which lasted only one season this year, soon Ms. Prince-Bythewood will try her hand on Silver Sable and Black Cat, but only time will tell how this female led film plays out. We're already promised a Wonder Woman film in theaters for the first time ever this Friday and two years later we will bear witness to Captain Marvel in March 2019.
