Today's UPDATES

What a crazy day it was yesterday, a lot has happened and there wasn't time to talk about it. In case you are wondering, the Internet on my computer was not working and I tried over and over again to get it  back up, and when I finally did, it was late in the morning and I had lost valuable time to write the daily updates for yesterday. If you don't know, I have a certain deadline of when I have to finish an update each day which is around the 12 o' clock hour in the early afternoon. So, I had had to settle to write about the Final Four and National Championship which was quite alright with me, but the bad news is that I didn't get the chance to talk about the topics I had planned for yesterday, like how the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania was awesome or how Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. finally returned to television last night. Well it looks like I only have time for one of those topics today, but before we get into that, see what MaxSports updates you missed from yesterday as well.

One big news that broke out after I was done with the NCAA Coverage yesterday was when Comedy Central finally found a replacement for The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore which was canceled last summer. Before I explain the story, something else happened with Comedy Central that caught my attention, during an episode of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, it looked like there was some kind of Russian Hacking. But it turned out that the network was planning to launched weekly late night series called The President Show Thursdays at 11:30PM starting April 27th. Comedian Anthony Atamanuik will host the host as President Trump with Peter Grosz as Vice President Mike Pence, now I wasn't all happy with this news, but yesterday, I was literally jumping for joy when I heard the second announcement Comedy Central made this week.

Daily Show Correspondent Jordan Klepper will be the one hosting the 11:30PM slot in a brand new series weeknights after The Daily Show later on this year. Not much is know since the series is still in development stage, but what I have been hearing is that it will be some sort of companion to The Daily Show like previous spin-offs The Colbert Report and Nightly Show, Klepper, Trevor Noah, and Daily Show alumni Stuart Miller will be serving as executive producers, a team of correspondents and contributors will be hand picked to obligate and reinforce Klepper's singularly correct world view, and more importantly will discuss some of the chaos and issues plaguing the country and institutions are to be trusted less than the lies of the mainstream media. It almost sounds as if the new series will have some sort of Cobert vibe to it, but hopefully, with Noah and Klepper taking over the 11PM hour on Comedy Central soon, they'll have the same exciting vibe that Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert once did. For more on this, today's #TwitterTrend features tweets from news media outlets with opinions about Klepper's new show.

Last night was the return of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC, the fourth season has gone through three different storylines, from Ghost Rider to L.M.D. to now Agents of Hydra, each one sounded more deadly than the last. When we last left SHIELD, it was taken over by the Life Model Decoys and it was up to Daisy and Simmons to stop them. They then figured out that their fellow SHIELD members were trapped in a virtual reality called the "Framework" where Hydra was never defeated SHIELD was no more. When last night's show started, we saw the return of Grant Ward who was apparently in a relationship with Daisy who did not have her inhuman powers in the frame work, also Agents May and Fitz were working for Hydra under the Leadership of Madame Hydra who bears a striking resemblance of AIDA. Phil Coulson was brainwashed into a school teacher who taught students how Hydra brought order to the world they live in, not real by the way, but you know what, if I lived in a virtual reality it would be how I want it to be and I could have a better life than I already have, but changing you you are is not always good. Now, it's up to Coulson, Daisy and Simmons to locate the other members of SHIELD and then escape the "Framework" in one piece, easier said that done. WebChoice offers tow clips from last night's episode to get your mind set on what will be a thrilling ride these last few episodes.
