The Warriors are the second team in the 2017 NBA Playoffs to sweep a team in a first round series, which means we could be one step closer to Cavaliers/Warriors III. More NBA action is on the way tonight with Rockets hoping to be the next to clinch a spot in the next round. Today I want to discuss some news that happen last before the Red Carpet World Premiere of Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy Vo. 2. I have mention this before but Marvel Studios has found a pair of directors for Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson which is due in theaters March 8, 2019. The names of the directors are Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck who have some experience on the big screen are best known for directing television. You can call this hiring the same as Anthony and Joe Russo were brought into Marvel Studios have directed two star studded Captain America films and are now hard at work filming Avengers: Infinity War. It has been known for a while that Marvel Studios would have a woman direct Captain Marvel and there have been many female candidates in the past, but in the end, Anna Boden made the cut along with her partner, who is a man, Ryan Fleck. So have other people said about you might ask and might already know, but #TwitterTrend has tweets on this piece of news and the reaction that comes with it.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has not just been dominating movie theaters around the world, but almost on network television with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and formerly Agent Carter on ABC, then there was online streaming with Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist on Netflix. We will soon have The Defenders joining forces this Summer and later on this year it will be The Punisher's turn to wow and surprise the audience. The one place Marvel usually doesn't dominate is cable television, but next year it will get the chance to do so with the recently announced New Warriors series coming to Freeform soon and also Cloak & Dagger. Both series will feature younger lead stars for younger audiences and Freefrom looks like the right choice to do so. Marvel had released the first trailer for Cloak & Dagger last week before the Guardians Vo. 2 Premiere and WebChoice has obtain said trailer for those haven't seen it yet or may want to see it again to give you a good idea on what is to come.
