Today's UPDATES

This Thursday, it's the 800th Post that has ever been made on this precious blog and I've got something big planned for that special occasion. In the meantime, we will be counting down the days to number 800, just as we we will be counting down days to the NBA Finals and the Stanley Cup Finals, which by the way, were outstanding last weekend. A few teams like the Predators, Penguins, Blues, and Ducks are on the verge to making it to the first round, having taking 2-0 ot 3-0 series lead which means teams that are on the brink of elimination will have to win the rest of the way. Some NHL series are in a dead heat and have not yet been decided, but meanwhile in the NBA Playoffs, it's all getting started. The Cavs, Bucks, Spurs, Jazz, Wizards, Warriors, Bulls and Rockets each grabbed a 1-0 series lead respectively last weekend. One of the big surprises were the Bucks upsetting the Raptors, the Jazz getting a Buzzer Beater against the Clippers, and the #8 Seed in the Est Bulls made the #1 Seed Celtics look real foolish in front of their home crowd in Boston. What else went down last weekend? MaxSports has the answers and the full answers.

Today's a special day for the people of Boston as the annual Boston Marathon where over 500,000 Spectators gather each year to see the best runners sprinting across  Eastern Massachusetts, through New England and ending in Boston. In could be the main reason why the Boston Red Sox are playing so early this Morning, but the Boston Marathon is very important part of history in Massachusetts, and four years ago, it became apart of America's history. It has been four years since the bombing on the 2013 Boston  Marathon and that event still shakes Massachusetts to it core, one person who was shaken to his core this past week was Boston Celtics player Isaiah Thomas when his sister Chyna Thomas died in a car accident. So the best way for the Celtics to honor Thomas' sister was to win the their first playoff game last night against Chicago but unfortunately that didn't happen. As the people Boston settle down on this historic Patriots Day, #TwitterTrend honors the City with some of the best tweets about the Boston Marathon.
