Earlier this week, we discussed how Sony Pictures was developing a Spider-Man spin-off starring one of Spidey's greatest adversary, Venom. It was been known that the film will be out October 5, 2018 and will not be connected to MCU's Spider-Man: Homecoming which is set premiere later this year on July 7th. Sometime between yesterday and today, Sony revealed that it was currently in development for another spin-off starring two famous female characters in the Spider-Verse, Black Cat and Silver Sable. Way back when Andrew Garfield was playing Your Friendly Neighborhood "You Know What", Sony had planned to expand its last Spider-Man series created by Marc Webb by creating spin-off featuring other characters that are involved in the Spider-Verse, but then Sony and Marvel Studios agreed to allow Spidey in the MCU which turned out to be a big success. So now this female-led film that was talked about a long time ago will finally be in the works and like Venom it will have nothing to with the new Spider-Man coming out this year. Not everyone is happy about information, but many a few other superhero news stories will make things better, and to do that WebChoice offers another video from comicbook.com YouTube Channel.
