This piece of news has been breaking since late last week and it regards a certain comic book character that we've know for a long time. On Thursday,m it was announced that one of Spider-Man's biggest foes Venom would hit hit theaters in a standalone film on October 5th, 2018. One thing to keep in mind about this is that the Oct. 5, 2018 release date was originally held by Aquaman, a film part of the DC Extended Universe which has been moved to December 21, 2018. This Venom spin-off is said to have no connection to the new version of Spider-Man played by Tom Holland so it is really set up in its own little universe, some will be wondering what will Sony Pictures do when it's planning to take on this famous Marvel villain/anti-hero. I never been that much of a fan of the Venom Symbiote, it always looks so disgusting and would make me wanna throw up and I'm sure that other fans felt that way when they were first introduced to it.
