Happy Pi Day which is dreadful no thanks to Snowstorm Stella, very cold weather is not perfect, but on the other hand, snow is a beautiful sight to see. Yesterday's MaxSports topic we discuss the NBA Playoff Picture, we shall try and do the same with the NHL picture. In the Atlantic Division, the Montreal Canadiens are in first place as one of their fierce Canadian rivals Ottawa Senators are not far behind wanting to take that first place spot for themselves. Other Canadian team to speak of are the Toronto Maple Leafs who are in fourth place in the Atlantic, trying to catch up with the Boston Bruins who sit quietly in the third spot. Meanwhile in the Metropolitan Division, it's a tough battle in first place as the Washington Capitals, Pittsburgh Penguins and Columbus Blue Jackets all duke it out, as for the remaining Divisions in the NHL, Minnesota Wild is in tight battle with the Chicago Blackhawks for the Central Title and it looks like a toss-up for the Pacific with San Jose Sharks taking nothing for granted. So how have these teams improved their efforts to make it to the playoffs, they've realized that every games counts, and last night's game did.
