From Sweet 16 to Elite 8 to Final 4

Just like that in a heartbeat, we are down to the Final Four in the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. It was a tough battle for each to team to get this far in the tournament and now they have their sights set on going into the University of Phoenix Stadium with the whole world watching and coming out as National Champions. Starting with the West Regional Champions, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are one of two remaining #1 Seeds left and barely broke a sweat having beaten South Dakota State, Northwestern, West Virginia, and Xavier. The second #1 Seed to have made it this far is the South Regional Champs North Carolina Tar Heels who easily took care of Texas Southern, Arkansas, Butler and then yesterday, with a last second buzzer beater, won a terrific game against Kentucky. There two Carolina teams in the Final Four, the other being the East Regional Champions South Carolina Gamecocks, this team was a big surprises, having beaten Marquette, and then upsetting Duke, Baylor and Florida respectively. Finally, the last team to make it to Phoenix are the Midwest Regional Champions Oregon Ducks who won the first ever men's basketball national championship back in 1939 and have not won it since. But now they could end their 78-year championship drought next Monday, they've beaten Iona, Rhode Island, Michigan, and Kansas.
