The Matchups
A few years ago, I found my favorite thing to in March, watch the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament. Dating back to 1939, the Tournament was a good way to kick back, relax and enjoy tons and tons of college basketball games which have the same energy and feeling as a NBA Playoff game. The number of teams have competed in each tournament has risen to a sixty-eight field, which soons turns into sixty-four, then thirty-two before dwindling down to the Sweet Sixteen, then Elite Eight, which leads us to the Final Four and finally the National Championship. Some people probably already know about the format, but in case they need to know all the teams that are competing starting tomorrow, KlicK-Net will get you all ready for the event known as March Madness.

First let's talk about each Region in each bracket, in the East Region, Villanova won the Big East Championship this past weekend and clinched the #1 Seed in the East while Duke, winner of the ACC Tournament, came in at #2 and will face the #15 Seed Troy. In the Midwest Region, Kansas got stunned after being eliminated the Big 12 Conference by TCU but still grabbed in the #1 Seed in the Midwest and Louisville, a team I know so well, made #2 and will take Jacksonville State who are #15. For the South, North Carolina were knocked out of the ACC Tournament by Duke and yet find themselves the #1 Seed in South Region and now have a date with #16 Texas Southern, for the #2 vs #15 matchup in the South, it's going a real State Showdown between SEC Champion Kentucky and Northern Kentucky from the Horizon League. Finally for the West, this might be the most biggest surprising and hard-working team to have clinched the #1 Seed in the West Region, Gonzaga who meet the #16 South Dakota State, plus, Arizona will be at #2 taking on the #15 North Dakota. The first four round starts tomorrow on truTV as always, so let's take a look at all of them as well as the all the other first round games.
