#fakeTV FRiDAY: Inside the Vault

Before we take another trip Inside the Vault, I would to give everyone the rundown for this weekend and a recap from this week. Well, not much is certain of the Oscars Envelope Mix-Up last Sunday expect that PricewaterhouseCoopers, service network in London, England claimed responsibility for what happen at the end of the Academy Awards. You know by now that Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway were to present the award for Best Picture and were given a back-up envelope marked "Actress in a Leading Role", which was to be used to announce that Emma Stone had won Best Actress, and when Beatty opened the envelope he paused for a moment and gave it to Dunaway who announced that La La Land won Best Picture. As the cast and crew of La La Land came on to the stage to make their acceptance remarks, the producers of the movie found out about the mistake with the envelopes and said that the real winner was Moonlight. PwC was responsible for tabulating results, preparing and handing the envelopes to presenters, created the back-up envelopes, which were kept on opposite sides of the stage and apologized for the mistake, so all and all, it felt like Steve Harvey at Miss Universe all over again.
Hopefully there won't be any mistakes when WWE's Raw Brand comes to the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for Fastlane, the final pay-per-view before WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida. The poster you see above indicates that Goldberg will be at the event this Sunday as it all goes live on the WWE Network, Goldberg will be challenging Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship and this match could very impact Goldberg's match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania seeing how those two could fight with the Universal Title on the line. You wonder what the Raw Brand has planned for this Sunday at Fastlane and then at WrestleMania as the SmackDown Live Brand has been doing an incredible job lately. For in case you haven't seen it, Randy Orton turned on Bray Wyatt last Tuesday, announced that he would indeed challenge for the WWE Championship at WM 33 and then burned The Wyatt Family Compound to the ground, epic moment! One small problem is that AJ Styles won a match against Luke Harper to earn a title shot so the SmackDown Live main event for WrestleMania is still uncertain.
Choosing what I wanted NickCam to be like was uncertain for me, but in the end, I think I did okay, but to explain this, it's time once again for #fakeTV to take us Inside the Vault. Last week, you learned how NickCam is a fake show set up in the same universe of many of Dan Schneider shows on Nickelodeon, but you have not yet heard the idea to keep NickCam as original as it could, The Season 1 Finale of the show was a change in the format and it was a sketch comedy special, a bit similar to All That and The Amanda Show. The special was called "NickCam Shorts" and its premiere date (even though not real) was set on July 4, 2008, a good day to eat some BBQ, after that I wrote a live hour long special known as "NickCam: Coaster X8 Live! Its fake premiere date was set on July 1, 2011, the same day that Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures premiered on Nickelodeon and this was made with tons of excited. It was in 2011 where Green Lantern starring Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively was in theaters and Six Flags Magic Mountain in California opened Green Lantern: First Flight, the park's record breaking 18th Coaster, the most than any other theme park in the world, hence for the title "Coaster X8 Live!". So the live special took placed in two places, Nickelodeon Studios in Hollywood where my character and half the cast did all the sketches and in Magic Mountain where the other half of the cast including Denzel Whitaker rode the Green Lantern: First Flight coaster to honor the park's record. I also added other Nick stars, as well Reynolds and Lively and musical performances by BeyoncĂ© and Lady Gaga, pretty risky right? So now you know how tough it was make NickCam a success, there is much to come next week, stay tuned.
