Today's UPDATES

They've done it again, another exciting weekend of NFL Playoff action and on teams was holding back, well probably expect for the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs. MaxSports begins with this breaking story, the Atlanta Falcons, who many believe would be playing their final game in the Georgia Dome outlash the Seattle Seahawks 36-20, so now the Falcons' final game at the Dome will be for the NFC Championship next Sunday against the Green Bay Packers who had to have won the best game of the weekend. The Packs had an increasing over the Dallas Cowboys, but Dallas was like "we ain't going down quietly" and came storming back to tie the game in fourth quarter at 28 points a piece, then each team scored a field goal to tie it at 31, and then with only a few second left, the Packs were 3rd & 20 and Aaron Rodgers passed the ball to Mason Pass for 36-yards giving the Packs the chance to score a game winning touchdown. Meanwhile, the New England Patriots will host the Pittsburgh Steelers for the AFC Championship after the Pats were able to hold off the Texans 36-14 and the Steelers who never scored a single touchdown got six field goals and held off the Chiefs 18-16 after the Chiefs failed on a 2-pt conversation because of holding call that pushed them back. All and all it was an exciting weekend and it's gonna get more exciting come next Sunday.

Happy Martin Luther King Day to everyone, this is one the many holidays were people come together for an important historical figure. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was considered an outstanding leader in the Civil Rights movement and took a stand against those were racist to other people. #MLKDay is today's #TwitterTrend because there is no other topic on social media that I would rather talk about than this one. I remember being in school and hearing about this amazing African American and how he grew up as a child and then worked his way up the ladder of success to make the whites and blacks unite as one, the Dream of Dr. King lives on today and it always will. You can expect early games from the NHL and importantly the NBA who celebrate Martin Luther King's legacy proudly and is one of the many sports league that brings Blacks and Whites together. twitter is taking notice to how people are responding to today's holiday and how they remember what Dr. King did the in the 1960s as an American Baptist minister and activist who used nonviolent civil disobedience and Christian beliefs.to achive in his goals to gain civil rights for people who had been judged by the color of their skin. Here are many tweets people give their opinion on this important day in history.

In other news, WWE has crown its first United Kingdom Champion and his name is Tyler Bate of Dudley, West Midlands, England. He is 19-years-old, yeah I said it, 19-years-old and was able to overcome competitions who practically weigh twice as him. The United Championship Tournament was full of excitement just as the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs, sixteen wrestlers from England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland came in and only one came as champion. That man was Tyler Bate, now the next question is, where does he go from here, WWE is planning to planning to have a weekly series in the United Kingdom on the WWE Network allowing the UK Title to be exclusive to that show, just as the WWE Cruiserweight Championship is exclusive to 205 Live on the Network. On a sad note, WWE Legend and Hall of Famer Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka passed away yesterday due to a terminal illness of stomach cancer. Snuka was one those legends who paved the way for the career of current and future superstars of wrestling. The AnoaŹ»i family which originated from American Samoa were deeply in grief for the lost of their family member, including Tamina Snuka (Jimmy's Daughter), The Rock, Roman Reigns, Nia Jax and the Usos, he will always be remember for his incredible splash off the steel cage at Madison Square Garden. While WebChoice doesn't have anything on Jimmy Snuka, no tribute videos could be found, here's a look back at the UK Tournament in all its glory.
