I hope everyone is enjoying their day so far because Trending Topic can make it better.
So like today, the nominations for the 2017 Grammy Awards were announced and I think we can all guess who got the most nominations and could have the most awards: Beyoncé. The Texan singer and songwriter has nine nominations, Kanye West, Drake and Rihanna each have eight nominations and Adele, winner of last year's award for Best New Artist, has five nominations. It looks like it's going to be an incredible night at the Grammys on February 12th with the most important awards at stake like Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. The nominees for Best New Artist are some I've never heard before: Kelsea Ballerini, The Chainsmokers, Chance The Rapper, Maren Morris and Anderson .Paak. We all know that there are other awards for categories like Pop, Rock, Rap, Country, Jazz, Gospel, Latin, Classical, New Age and even Reggae which proves that any singer, songwriter and/or musician from around the world can win a Grammy, just like how anyone can become President of the United States, even Donald Trump. Can you say Midseason Finales of The Flash on The CW and Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC? After having the most amazing episodes from last week, The Flash and S.H.I.E.L.D. will be a taking a break this Winter as always. but before they go, they will leave us with one last surprise tonight in primetime television. Barry Allen had the time of his life last week teaming up with Supergirl, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow saving the world from the Dominators who came to Earth due to Flashpoint. According to Entertainment Weekly, the Winter Finale of The Flash will change the direction of the show, the same can be said for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. who must contend with unlikely allies in order to stop Eli Marrow from destroying Los Angeles. We can expect that the Ghost Rider will make a big impact tonight as Robbie Reyes faces his Uncle Eli who has evil intentions with his new found power in hand. In other Midseason news, the Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow will be met with shocking turn of events later this week on The CW, in the meantime, here is what you need to watch for on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
