WebChoice Wednesday

Today feels great doesn't it, then let's see something cool on WebChoice Wednesday.

Some have been wondering who is the favorite to win this year's World Series between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs. After last night, the Indians took Game 1 and will face off against the Cubs in Game 2 tonight, with only three wins away from bringing Cleveland its second World Championship in one year. Now the Indians won by a score of 6-0 thanks to the all-star pitcher of their ace Corey Kluber put on a show, while the Cubs' ace pitcher Jon Lester who couldn't keep a run from scoring. In the eighth inning, the Cubs had the bases loaded with nobody and in the end could not score at least one run after being thrown out at the plate three straight times, it just goes to show how powerful this Cleveland team from the American League is. The start time for tonight's game was moved forward an hour earlier due to a heavy rain forecast, well at least that means we won't have to wait any more any hours for baseball than expected. The most important thing about this series is that someone's championship drought will finally come to an end, but the Cubs will not this opportunity slip away from after going 108 years with a Word Title, they've got Jake Arrieta taking on Indians' Trevor Bauer tonight. Let's see all of the highlights from Game 1 tonight.
Final: indians 6, Cubs 0. Cleveland leads 1-0
They're only 3 Wins Away

There's only thirteen days left until the Election on November 8th, the debates, primaries and conventions are well over with, and as America begins to decides between two somewhat unpopular candidates in Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, everything will be coming up rosey. I've have followed this election since I first registered to vote last night and I'm been amazed with how the progress of becoming President of the United States goes, so now it all comes down to Election Night where networks like CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, Fox News Channel and MSNBC will be covering what you need to like until the last vote is in. Election Night has always been a great night for late-night shows to get in on the action, and things are gonna be really special. Last week, Showtime officially announced that it would premiere "Stephen Colbert's LIVE Election Night Democracy’s Series Finale: Who’s Going To Clean Up This Sh*t?", Nov. 8th at 11PM, in which the CBS Late Show host will broadcast live from The Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC. Just yesterday, Comedy Central announced a live One-Hour Daily Show with Trevor Noah at the exact same time and date with up-to-the-minute news coverage and analysis from The Best F#@king News Team as the election results come in, all this and a live @Midnight with Chris Hardwick at Midnight. In the meantime, watch this vid of Daily Show correspondent Jordan Klepper filling in for Trevor Noah as host last Thursday explaining how Trump will gratefully accept the election results.

While there a lot of talk of Baseball, it was also a special night because the 2016-17 NBA Season finally tipped off. It became an enormous night for the City of Cleveland, Ohio because the Cavaliers finally got their rings last night in an electric ceremony before their game with the New York Knicks. The leader of the Cavs LeBron James vowed to defend his team's championship with real honor to the city as they look to repeat back-to-back titles, the first step to that goal started with a 117-88 win over the Knicks. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great night for the Golden State Warriors, who acquired Kevin Durant this past summer, making them even more a favorite to win another title this season, they opened at home in Oakland against the San Antonio Spurs mins Tim Duncan and lost 129-100. That had to the Warriors worst lost in a while, but this means that they won't go 82-0 and break their own record for most wins in a season. Tonight, other teams, including my Brooklyn Nets, will tip-off their seasons as some want to redo their playoff runs, some are rebuilding to a better franchise, and some will reclaim what is rightfully theirs. For old time's sake, I present the Top Ten Plays from NBA Opening Night and more.
