#TrendingTopicTuesday

MaxSports Monday was yesterday, but I have two trending sports topic lined-up for today.

Where do we begin? How about the 2016 World Series between the Cleveland Indians and the Chicago Cubs. I've already talk about these two well deserving teams who will play Game One of the Series tonight at 8PM on Fox. It will be a series for the ages, and I think that when it comes to Major Championship games like the World Series, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup Final and the Super Bowl, it's all about teams to haven't been to the Big Dance in a long time or have made their first appearance in history. It's about new teams chasing for the title instead of the same old teams every year, the Indians and Cubs have what it takes to make this Series the Greatest in History, they have a chance to bring home championship and hold it up high to their hometown. The pitching matchup for tonight will be Chicago's Jon Lester vs Cleveland's Corey Kluber representing the two franchises with the longest World Series title droughts, a combined 176 years without a championship. After this Series is finished, someone's Championship drought will continue and some will win it all in the first time in decades. See how this enormous World Series is already dominating the media on twitter.

The 2016-2017 NBA Season Tips off Tonight, that's right, Tonight! It all starts at 7:30PM on TNT, with the Defending NBA Champions Cleveland Cavaliers going up against their foes the New York Knicks, so you could expect a LeBron James vs Carmelo Anthony showdown, then at 10:30PM, it's the deadly team of the Golden State Warriors taking on the mildly mannered San Antonio Spurs after the departure of Tim Duncan and the Arrival of Kevin Durant to Golden State. I for one can't wait for the season to start because I'm looking forward to newest look of my Brooklyn Nets who have been in Rebuilding Mode as of late. Some say that teams who rebuild, make big success, it may as well take a while for the Nets to play a level that they've forgotten to play in a long time, but somehow I feel that things are going to different this year and the years to come. When i look at the papers this morning, there was a NBA Preview section which shows that people are predicting a Warriors/Cavaliers III in the NBA Finals, only this time it is the Dubs who are victorious, well we'll find out tonight if they have it in them one more time to repeat this incredible showdown. See how excited the entire NBA organization is about tonight's Season Tip-Off.
