The Inzane Club (stylized as the iNZANe CLUB) is a television variety show created by Brian Robbins and produced by DreamWorks Animation's AwesomenessTV for Netflix. The first season, consisting of fourteen episodes, was released on October 14, 2016 with each episode streaming every Friday each week.

The series stars Kwame Alexander (changing his first name to Kyrie) as the host, with Gracie Dzienny, Noah Munck, Teala Dunn, Lia Marie Johnson and Nolan Ammon as the supporting cast, and the I.Z.C.E. Band (a spoof of DNCE) performing as the house band. The show takes place at night club that features various comedy sketches, games involving viral videos, musical numbers, and celebrity guests.

Format and Premise
The show takes place at a fictional club for only party goers who are ages 16 and up and was established since 2012. Kyrie (Kwame Alexander) is the host who presents comedy sketches, musical parodies, viral videos and celebrity games during each episode. There are also sub-plots involving Kyrie and other actors playing themselves and getting into comedic situations with each other and the studio audience. This would recur in most part of the show such as the opening monologue and closing segment.

Aside from this, the series is formatted as a typical variety show, with recurring sketches as well as an end segment called the “Game Lounge” where two celebrities sit at a lounge section of the studio and play a random game with the host. The sketches are often pop culture parodies, viral videos, digital shorts and musical numbers featuring the cast and celebrities who appear.

Production
The series was announced in March 2016 and was tentatively titled H.O.Z.: House of Zane, before being retitled The Inzane Club. Shortly after Alexander’s previous series Rhodey, NY had ended on Nickelodeon, he signed a multi-year deal with DreamWorks Animation-owned AwesomenessTV to be in future projects being produced. In May 2016, Netflix ordered fourteen episodes of the variety series with Alexander as the lead role and Dzienny, Munck, and Dunn rounding out the main cast; Johnson and Ammon were later added as featured players. Brian Robbins (co-founder and CEO of AwesomenessTV), is the showrunner and also serves as Executive Producer along with Jeff Hodsden, Shauna Phelan and Joe Davola. The pilot was produced in late-May 2016 in Burbank, California, and filming continued throughout the fall, with the series premiering on October 14, 2016 on Netflix.

Release
The series planned to premiere on Netflix in September 16, 2016, but was pushed back to October 14, 2016 and the first season ended as early as January 2017.
