WebChoice Wednesday

It's Hump Day, the perfect time for the perfect pictures and videos chosen by yours truly.

Last week, we counted down to the ten big attractions coming to Six Flags park everywhere. From Bonzai Pipelines to Justice League: Battle for Metropolis to Wonder Woman: Lasso of Truth to The Joker 4D Free Fly Coaster and to Thunder Rapids, Six Flags went all in with new rides headed our way in 2017. The announcement seemed a bit odd this time for previous announcements from the years pasted were made by former President and CEO of Six Flags Jim Reid-Anderson who is now promoted to Executive Chairman and replaced by John Duffey. By the way, the Swinging Pendulum rides coming to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and La Ronde are actually a pair of Zamperla Giant Discoveries and not Huss Giant Frisbees. The timing for a Wonder Woman ride couldn't have come at a better time next season with the super-heroine coming to theaters next summer, though it would be cool if she had her very own roller coaster, even I would have ride it. Let's recap all the things that are coming to a Six Flags near you.

Thunder Rapids Coaster coming to Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Wonder Woman right between the Joker and Superman

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor coming to Mexico

WWE SmackDown Live is gearing up for its first brand-exclusive pay-per-view after this summer's brand split. Backlash will take place this Sunday on September 11th and it will be a special one. The blue brand looks to crown new Tag Team Women's Champions that look to outshine the champions over on RAW, and things have gotten a little exciting to say the least. American Alpha and the unlikely duo of Heath Slater and Rhyno had qualified for the Tournament final to determine the first ever SmackDown Tag Team Champions, but then the Usos went a little crazy than usual and injured Chad Gable making American Alpha unable to compete at Backlash. So now, the Usos and the Hype Bros. have a big opportunity to replace Alpha this Sunday and take Slater and Rhyno for the Championships. Also, the women competing in the Six Pack Challenge for the SmackDown Women's Championship were given one last chance to shine before this Sunday and WWE World Champ Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles had exchange one final word for their anticipating match.

Guess what, I am just two tweets away from reaching the 10,000 milestone. Once a tweet about this post today, I will have to up make one more and then put it in the books. Speaking of which, has anyone been watching MLB Baseball lately, the final of month of the season has already gotten off to crazy start. The defending National League Champions New York Mets won once again to keep pace in the NL Wild Card race, they have just been counting on the teams in front of them to lose. The San Francisco Giants and the St. Louis Cardinals lead to two wild card spots in the National League, but how they won last night surprises me. First, the Giants broke a 2-2 tie with Colorado Rockies in the 9th to win 3-2, but the game between the Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates is where it gets interesting. Cardinals had been leading 5-0, then the Pirates came back to score 6 runs, and in the 9th with Cardinals down to their last strike, they scored 3 home runs and went to win 9-7. Anyone can go online and see what the Giants, but you need see how amazing the Mets and Cardinals were last night.
