#TrendingTopicTuesday

The week is just Beginning, but the real fun has not started yet, Triple T has more:

All week long it's all about the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio and already on the first day, things have gotten off to a really rocky start. As this is the first full convention where I'm going to watch, I never knew how divided the Republican Party is, even though they control almost all things in Washington D.C. from the Congress to the House of Representatives. I don't fell real excited about this since my House is one TV short, the TV in the basement went out last week and now I can't get no picture on it, so staying down stairs is pointless. Well on the flip side, the first night of the convention was full of unexpected surprises with the theme being "Make America Safe Again", former Mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani offering a hard-giving speech and Donald Trump, whose wasn't supposed to appear until the last night, introduced his wife Melania Trump. For more convention coverage, these first tweets offer what republican voters have to say:

I may have said this many times before, but the news channels from CBS, NBC, Fox and ABC have been covering the convention themselves. Also, late-night hosts like Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers and Bill Maher will be bringing the funny out of the conventions all week and next week for the Democrats, but nobody knows politics better than Stephen Colbert. Last night was the first of many live editions of The Late Show on CBS and Stephen promised an entire recap of night one, but we wasn't alone. Stephen traveled all the way to Cleveland to declare the Republican National "Hungry for Power Games" officially open, and we got a blast from the past with special appearances by Jon Stewart and Mr. Colbert Report himself. I smiled from end to end until my face hurt when I saw old Colbert come out and gave us his analysis of the convention that was nominating a fat bowl of cheetos. Who knows what's in stored for tonight, but here are some tweets you'll find most interesting.

Aside from politics, one other important event is the WWE Draft, in which the #1 Sports-Entertainment company will be split into two brands once again but with a new look. As of tonight, SmackDown was be LIVE every Tuesday as RAW is LIVE on Mondays, however each will be under [somewhat] new management, with Stephanie McMahon as RAW Commissioner and choosing Mick Foley as the General Manager. Shane McMahon was named SmackDown Commissioner and picked Daniel Bryan as his General Manager, which makes things much more interesting, consider who gets drafted. The Rules were put out on WWE.com days ago and state: Raw will get the #! Overall Draft Pick; for two picks SmackDown gets, Raw will get three; Tag Teams count as just one pick unless a Commissioner/General Manager specifically only wants one member of the team, and finally six draft picks will be made off the NXT Roster. If this all wasn't interesting enough, check out what went down last night on Raw.
