It's been an eventful month of February, from Black History to my 20th Birthday. The 2016 Presidential primaries were underway and so far Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are leading in the race to the White House in November. February 29, this Monday, will be a leap day, but the day before that it's the 88th Annual Academy Awards were we honor the Best in Movies. While the "Oscars Sh White" issue is sweeping social media, people will still tune into the award ceremony this Sunday to see who goes home with a golden Oscar for Best Picture, Actor, Actress, Supporting Role, Director, Animated Film, and more. With so much talk about who's the best in film, maybe #KlicKNet will hold its own award show sometime this year.
Rhodey, NY (Season 5)
The Kids' Choice Awards show is on its way Saturday, March 12 hosted by Blake Shelton. If Rhodey, New York were a real show on Nickelodeon, then it would be nominated for Favorite TV Show and the leading stars (my sister Maunda and Me) would be nominated for Favorite Male and/or Female TV Star on a Kids Show. It would be great honor for the show to go out with a bang and grab a few awards for its work over the past few years, but in the meantime, let's talk comedy. In the last episode of Rhodey before the series finale, one of Rhodey's friends is making one last stand for justice. A famous site at Mystic Adventure is being closed down and it will take Rhodey's smarts to save it. The brand new episodes airs tomorrow night at 9:30PM on Nickelodeon, so prepare for the best.
