Last Week, the nominations for the Eighty-Eighth Annual were announced and apparently there has Criticism regarding lack of diversity within the nominees. Social media was mostly upset that there were not any black actors or movies like Concussion or Straight Outta Compton nominated for Best Picture and Actor, and even though yesterday was Martin Luther King Day, it is becoming a problem that things like these don't get the respect they deserves. You could say that Oscars have become so white, it's horrible people will attend to boycott the award ceremony on February 28th. Not even Star Wars: The Force Awakens was nominated for Best Picture and it made box-office records all in a blink of an eye, and if anyone disagrees with this story, take a look at the tweets below.

This Just In, today is National Popcorn Day. It's obvious that it means that popcorn, everyone's favorite snack, is trending on this nice cold Tuesday. With the Super Bowl, Grammys and Oscars coming up, people would like nothing more than to sit down in front of the television with a bag or bowl of delicious popcorn. When it comes to movies, people eat all the time in theaters and there are some big movies coming in the near future, like just yesterday, it was announced that the next installment in the Fast and the Furious series will be titled "Fast 8" and will be released in April of 2017. Until then, movie goers will rejoice over films coming out this year, so grab some popcorn and hold on for the ride where action, comedy & drama happens.

Tonight is a night for some jam-packed superhero action. Starting at 8PM on ABC it's Marvel's Captain America: 75 Heroic Years where we look at the the history of Captain America from 1941 to present and how this hero went from comic to big-screen superstar. Then it's the two-hour season premiere of Marvel's Agent Carter from 9-11PM and it's gonna be Lights, Camera, Action for the Agent that has become a huge part of the MCU. Over on the CW Network there will be two specials highlighting what DC has in stored for it's fans, first at 9, DC's Legends of Tomorrow: Their Time Is Now talks about the new series set to debut this Thursday on the CW and how it was made. At 9:30, DC Films Presents: The Dawn of the Justice League which include a special look at Batman vs Superman, Suicide Squad, and Wonder Woman all in one place.
