Last Night was the Series Premiere of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS. I watched it, recorded it and on my DVR, and watched it over all again this morning. In my review, Mr. Colbert was great, it was his own version of a Late Show and I say he is going to be great in the years to come. There were special appearances by the CBS president Leslie Moonves, Mavis Staples, Aloe Blacc, Jon Stewart and Colbert's late-night rival Jimmy Fallon. There was also a special look at the new and improved Ed Sullivan Theater. Here's a look down below:

Introducing The New Ed Sullivan Theater

Last but not least, the final month of the MLB Regular Season is heating up. After teams hit the field on an afternoon of Labor Day, last night was night of opportunity. The one team that made the most impact was the New York Mets who were down 7-1 against the Washington Nationals scored six runs in seventh inning and then scored a game-winning home run in eighth to win the game 8-7. With this, the Mets now lead the NL East division by six games. The Yankees didn't do so well and losing to Baltimore find themselves one and a half back in the AL East; for more on this here's look at all the drama:
