Rhodey Meets Danger is a 2015 crossover episode of Rhodey, NY and Henry Danger. Although it is a crossover, the episode only counts as the fourth special of Rhodey, NY. The episode aired on January 17, 2015 at 9:00 p. m. Eastern Time on Nickelodeon as a lead-out to the series premiere of Bella and the Bulldogs.

Plot
Rhodey (Kwame Alexander) is
watching a web series on his Pear Pad Tab3 about Captain Man (Cooper Barnes)
and Kid Danger (Jace Norman), whose styles of crime-fighting in Swellview are
found to be unorthodox. Rhodey’s next door neighbor Andre (Leon Thomas III)
comes in and accidentally knocks the Pear Pad into a fish tank to put a pizza
on the table. Andre explains to Rhodey that he brought the pizza because he and
Roseanne (Maunda Alexander) are about to watch a new crime investigation show.
When the trio sees a group called “The Ruby Buckets” robbing a jewelry store,
they’re stunned to see that one of the thieves look like Andre’s grandmother
Mrs. Harris (Marilyn Harris).
Meanwhile, Henry Hart (secretly known as Kid Danger) is in New York for his parents’ (Jeffrey Nicholas Brown and Kelly Sullivan) Anniversary. As Henry is watching the same crime show with his friends Charlotte (Riele Downs) and Jasper (Sean Fox), they see two “Ruby Buckets” who look like his parents. The next day, Rhodey and Andre speculate on whether or not Andre’s Grandmother a jewel thief and find out from Sidney (Lisa Tucker) and her sister Will (Jannae Scott), who have seen the show and think it really was Andre’s Grandmother. Elsewhere in the city, Henry’s Father is at a jewelry store buying an anniversary gift. He asks Henry’s Sister Piper (Ella Anderson) to hide the rubies when they get back to hotel. Henry and his friends find the hidden rubies and believe were stolen by his parents. Henry calls Ray Manchester a.k.a Captain Man to come to New York and help him figure out the investigation. At night, Rhodey and co. are working at Mystic Adventure when see Henry and Ray change into their superhero outfits to stop the Ruby Buckets from robbing the park. Rhodey, Andre and Roseanne decide to blackmail the duo on their secret identities; on the condition that they work together.
They go to Garrett (Michael Reid) who is an expert on master jewel thieves and says that if they return the supposedly stolen jewelry to the store, then they’ll catch the real thieves. Kid Danger and Captain Man seek through the roof of the store along with Rhodey and Andre. They make a big hole in the ceiling while trying to climb down and head into the safe to put the safe in. Rhodey knowingly closes the safe door shut trapping him and the group, and when Kid Danger puts on a flashlight, they’re frightened to see the Ruby Buckets who were hiding in the safe. Roseanne and Charlotte alert the police and the Ruby Thieves are arrested. Later, Kid Danger and Captain Man try to explain what happen to the police and Rhodey and Andre leaves them locked in the safe and run away. Next morning, Henry and Ray stop by Rhodey’s apartment to give their friends a bill for the damage they caused at the jewelry. Rhodey retaliates with a bill for his broken Pear Pad which the duo rejected and head back home to Swellview. On the flight home, Henry finds that Rhodey took his tablet before they left and in disbelief scream Rhodey’s name on the plane.

Production
Originally, the episode was planned to be a crossover
between Rhodey, NY and Sam & Cat. However, Sam & Cat aired for just one
season and was officially cancelled on July 13, 2014 due to a multitude of
issues. A week later (on July 26), Henry Danger started airing with a one-hour
movie special as the first episode. Filming of the crossover episode was
scheduled in early September 2014 during production of Henry Danger’s first
season.
