The second season of NickCam aired on Nickelodeon from September 6, 2008 to July 25, 2009. The season continues the stories of Nick Cameron (Denzel Whitaker), his friends Rosanne Kenseth (Maunda Alexander), Rhodey Wilde (Kwame Alexander), Roman Harvick (Marlon Smith), Louise & Shirin Busch (Casey & Jannae Scott) and Qristyl Logano (Aldonesa Janglian) as they produce their own web show called “NickCam”.

Nick can't stop laughing after a boy accidentally splits his pants in class, but then, he is having nightmares where he does not have any pants. He tells Rosanne about this, who tells everyone else, which embarrasses him. Inevitably, Nick does rip his pants and has to deal with the fact that everyone gets embarrassed. Elsewhere, Rhodey’s bike is too small for him so his mom has found her old bike for him, expect he is embarrassed by the rusty old bike. He hides it and pretends it is stolen. The bike then gets thrown out and Rhodey is mortified.

When the boys are stuck being Louise and Shirin’s assistants after losing a bet they made at Mystic Mountain, Nick, Rhodey, Roman and Rosanne try to win a private concert from Miley Cyrus by finding all the letters to her name under frozen pizza boxes as a way to free the boys from the Busch sisters.

Nick is fundraising for the school band by selling cookies, but after having trouble selling them, he ends up eating some of them. Since he doesn't have the money to pay for them he opts to make cookies. Nick has difficulty coming up with a recipe so his friends make a joke recipe, which turns out to taste delicious and he takes all of the credit. After getting positive feedback, Nick asks his cooking teacher Mr. Robertson to help him make more, but this makes Mr. Robertson run behind on his other orders.

Shirin thinks she is too little to do anything. However, when Nick accidentally loses his phone under her bed, Shirin’s size helps her. Rhodey and Roman need to clean their rooms and work together to get things done quicker. However, each is fussy about what stays and what goes and how it all goes together.

Rhodey is overjoyed that Rosanne lost her voice, with Louise telling him he's mean, but is not so excited when he has to do what she wants him to do. When he discovers that Rosanne is better but continues faking, he gets his friends to come up with a plan to expose her lie by scaring her in order to make her scream. Elsewhere, Nick takes the bus to the store to buy Rosanne something for her voice, but he falls asleep on the bus and misses his stop. Then Nick ends up at a unknown places in the city but luckily, the bus driver helps him find his way home for free.

The NickCam gang goes to a San Francisco Forty-Niners game. They have several problems but make it to the game in time. When they go in to find their seats, Rhodey abruptly separates from his friends and meets one of the players.

Roman accidentally hurts his knee at a store while retrieving something for his and Nick’s school project. He hides the injury and makes Nick promise not to tell anyone because he wasn't allowed to go to the dump. Meanwhile, Rhodey learns that he has asthma, and his friends start treating him differently, thinking that Rhodey needed special attention.

Nick and his friends trying out for the Mystic Mountain Dance Team. Nick makes the team but he is the worst dancer.  Nick and Qristyl then work together to improve their dance skills. Later, Louise dares Qristyl to be nice to everyone for a whole week and she cannot tell anyone why she is being nice. The boys are worried when Qristyl starts acting nice for no apparent reason and are worried she may "pop" if she continues bottling up her anger. They try fruitlessly to diffuse her.

Qristyl won’t stop playing her favorite CD and Rosanne is absolutely annoyed by it, even going to threaten her that she will break it. When the CD goes missing, Qristyl and the others blame it on Rosanne. The disc turns out to be in a jewel case marked "Pop". Elsewhere, the NickCam gang tries to make their own music video.

Rhodey and Roman have a sleepover with Nick and Mitch. Rosanne wants to join them so that she can pull a prank on Rhodey. The boys do not agree. Rosanne decides to have a slumber party with Louise, Shirin and Qristyl and the girls begin Rosanne’s prank on the boys. They trick the boys with fake ghosts retaliation and vice versa.

While all their parents are on a week-long vacation, the whole NickCam group is home alone doing whatever they want. But when they go the movie theater, a group of bumbling burglars robs the place then sets up booby traps that only the NickCam gang spring through. Soon they must find a way to save everyone in the theater. This two-part episode bears many similarities to the 1990 film Home Alone.
