On July 1, 2011, NickCam produced its first and only live
episode during the fifth and final season as a two-part special titled
“NickCam: Coaster X8 Live!”. The fifth
season cast included, in alphabetical order: Kwame Alexander, Maunda Alexander,
Ryan Coleman, Aldonesa Janglian, Casey Scott, Jannae Scott, Marlon Smith, and
Denzel Whitaker along with featured member Christina Kirkman.
The live episode was to honor Six Flags Magic Mountain’s
newest roller coaster, “Green Lantern: First Flight” and for the park’s record
for the most roller coasters than any other park in the world, eighteen. Half
of the cast (Whitaker, Smith, and The Scotts) went to Magic Mountain for the
opening of the ride whiles the other half (Janglian, Coleman and The
Alexanders) performed at Nickelodeon on Sunset.
Featured celebrities were: the Cast of iCarly and
Victorious, Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.
- Opening: Denzel, Jannae, Casey and Marlon are at Six Flags Magic Mountain to celebrate the opening of the park’s eighteen roller coaster and take a look around the park. The other cast members (Kwame, Maunda, Ryan and Aldonesa) try to do sketches from Studio 7N by themselves and ask for help from iCarly and Victorious.
- Green Room Monologue: Miranda and Victoria welcome the studio audience and the Viewers at home to the live show and present the first sketch.
- Party XL: The party store is having an 18% off sale of costumes, flag decorations and dinner supplies.
- Goliath Toys: The Company creates very gigantic toys that cause the building to collapse.
- Muchi vs. Magic Music Players: Muchi fights magic music players and introduces the Musical Guest.
- Musical Guest: Beyoncé – “Video Phone”
- Back at Six Flags: Denzel, Jannae, Casey and Marlon begin to ride Green Lantern: First Flight
- Sally Escapes from Stuffs: Sally has eighteen seconds to escape a water slide.
- Dragon Prank: Nathan Kress performs Dragon Prank on several audience members only to get arrested by Goth and Order.
- Lucas E X. takes over Lantern Fashion and SOL: A guy name Lucas E. X tries to Lantern Fashion and Scream Out Loud at the same time.
- Goth & Order: Nathan’s interrogation for his Dragon Prank leads to the group of detectives to do horrible things to him.
- Musical Guest from Six Flags: Lady Gaga – “Born this Way” and “Just Dance”
- Ending: The cast ends the live show from Magic Mountain and Studio 7N telling viewers to come to the park and ride its eightieth roller coaster and the Green Lantern movie now in theaters.
